I loved your cinderella re-make! It is funny how you insert some real-life things in a subtle way. I especially laught out loud at this line, “Unrecognized by her sisters, Sindrella remembered to leave before midnight and was rushed home in a blue light convoy at 120kph in a 60kph zone. ”

I have tremendous admiration and respect for people like you who still have the strength and conviction to live each day out and see it through. One cannot begin to imagine what it must be like to go through all of that but, you are incredibly brave in your dealing with it.

A feed reader is a piece of software that will read an RSS or Atom feed. e.g. Google Reader.

A feed writer is a piece of software that will construct the XML for publishing an RSS or Atom feed. Not something that is needed by many people.

A feed aggregator stores feed items, even if they are no longer in the feed itself. Most feed readers are also feed aggregators, but not all aggregators are feed readers. e.g. http://www.amatomu.co.za/ is a feed aggregator but not a feed reader. Same with http://afrigator.com/

Tags are generally a waste of time, although many will disagree. Simply put, a tag is a mechanism which makes locating something easier.

There are thousands of sites around the Internet that can be used to attract people to your blog. Some are automatic, like Amatomu and myScoop, and some require you to post individual links back to your blog, like Digg and Propeller.

Generally speaking, more blogs = more work.

Being able to post comments is not a function of a feed reader. A feed reader will show you new posts in the feeds you monitor, and you’ll be able to read the full or partial text of the post (Full or partial content depends on what is included in the feed XML). To post comments, you’ll still need to visit the actual blog, which should only be a single click in your feed reader.

Well, you are right these days we are really hooked on to gadgets and keep them on most of the time because we cant do without them but the lights and sounds do get irritating at times.
